The Purple Rain Clouds Mindfulness Journal is truly special. I have known the author Kendra Hoyt for more than a decade. Kendra is a leader in restorative practice and introduced me to circle practice and many of the healing centered practices that she so lovingly shares in the Purple Rain Cloud Mindfulness Journal.
Now more than ever, we need to cultivate healing centered practices for joyful, connected, compassionate communities. Purple Rain Clouds is a treasure! I am simply amazed by all the affirming and empowering resources, wisdom, and insight that Kendra has lovingly offered in this beautiful journal. Every day I find something new to savor - from reflecting on hopes and dreams, to savoring moments of joy and laughter, to being present to what's here now and practicing kindness, mindfulness, courage, compassion. I love, love, love this journal. Such a gift of light and love Kendra has shared with the world! I also love the mandalas, journal practice entries, and guided meditations awakening heart, mind, body, breath. Kendra’s heart-mind alignment really is amazing. I still have all the restorative justice materials Kendra shared so generously a decade ago. I gave a copy of Purple Rain Clouds Mindfulness Journal to my daughter on her birthday and she loved it! She is now including restorative practices in her leadership and social justice work.
Deeply appreciate all that Kendra and Purple Rain Clouds are doing to bring hope and healing that is so needed in today's world!

Amazon Review of Mindfulness Journal

“This author has found a brilliant and personal way to carry you on a journey of pain and forgiveness. It would be easy as a reader to view this journey with a sense of sympathy. But as you journey through you begin to find points of resonance that turn your experience into one of empathy. When I finished reading this book, I didn’t immediately close it and put it on the bookshelf. I sat with it in my hands thinking about my own life and what affect my life may have had on others in my own world.”
